Word of the Day – mal de mer

ocean_33Today’s word is mal de mer.  This phrase, from the French, refers to seasickness.

This made me think of the fact that sometimes I feel like I’m walking on a ship when I’m just walking around the house. Especially late in the day, when I’m tired, my balance just isn’t there.  It can take me several tries just to get out of a chair at night to go to bed.
